A reminder to farmers and their advisors that the stamp duty exemptions for transfers of land (or shares in land rich companies) were extended to include trusts. 




Intergenerational transfers are a great tool for those working in the farm succession space. Like any business succession plan, a team approach should be taken involving both accountants, lawyers and other trusted advisors and stakeholders.
